Brian Zelickson is Lead Clinical Advisor of Sienna Labs. Dr. Zelickson is one of the most respected dermatologists in the nation and an internationally renowned laser surgeon and inventor. He has been repeatedly named one of the Twin Cities’ “Top Doctors” by Mpls St. Paul magazine. He is a Mayo-trained physician and currently leads Zel Skin & Laser Specialists, a nationally acclaimed skin care center. Dr. Zelickson is a serial entrepreneur. He has founded several start-ups and consults for numerous industry and academic organizations.
Richard Fitzpatrick, M.D.
Richard Fitzpatrick is Clinical Advisor of Sienna Labs. Dr. Fitzpatrick is a world-famous leader in Dermatology, internationally known for his innovative work developing medical lasers. He created many well-known laser procedures including laser resurfacing of the skin with the UltraPulse CO2 laser. Dr. Fitzpatrick authored medical textbooks on laser surgery and more than one hundred scientific articles. He lectures all over the world and has trained thousands of physicians in laser techniques. A Princeton University graduate, Dr. Fitzpatrick went on to Emory University Medical School where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society for academic excellence. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.
Mitchel P. Goldman, M.D.
Mitchel Goldman is Clinical Advisor of Sienna Labs. Dr. Goldman is a graduate of Boston University and the Stanford University Medical School. He is a Volunteer Clinical Professor in Medicine/Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Goldman is Board Certified by both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American College of Phlebology and the American Society of Liposuction Surgery. Dr. Goldman founded and was the 3rd President of the American College of Phlebology and is also Past-President of the San Diego Dermatologic Society and past Board of Directors member of the American Venous Forum, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the Pacific Dermatology Association. He is also President – Elect of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Goldman is an Associate Editor for Dermatologic Surgery, Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Cosmetic Surgery and Phlebology Forum. He has authored and/or co-authored 21 Textbooks on Cosmetic Surgery, Sclerotherapy, Ambulatory Phlebectomy, Cutaneous Laser Surgery, Cellulite and Dermatologic Surgery as well as over 300 peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters.
Guy Webster, M.D., Ph.D.
Guy Webster is Clinical Advisor of Sienna Labs. Dr. Webster is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in molecular biology and genetics. There he went on to complete his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1981 and his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1985. Dr. Webster belongs to numerous professional organizations. He is the founding president of the American Acne and Rosacea Society, a Fellow of the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology and of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the Society for Investigative Dermatology. He is on the editorial boards of Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dermatology Online Journal, Clinics in Dermatology, and Skin Therapy Letter and serves as a reviewer for several journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, Archives of Dermatology, Archives of Pediatrics, and the International Journal of Dermatology. Dr. Webster was named to America’s Best Doctors, 2004-2008 and recently published the book, Acne and Its Therapy.
James J. Leyden, M.D.
James Leyden is Clinical Advisor of Sienna Labs. Dr. Leyden received his Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he has been involved in clinical research and care of patients for more than 40 years, becoming an Emeritus Professor of Dermatology in 2002. Dr. Leyden has served on numerous editorial boards, was a Director of the American Academy of Dermatology and Chairman of the Board of the Dermatology Foundation for a number of years. He is presently serving on the Board of the Dermatology Foundation. His research interests encompass a wide range of clinical problems including bacterial and fungal infections, acne, aging and photoaging, pre-clinical safety testing and developing methodologies for in-vivo evaluation of anti-microbial effects. More basic interests have included mechanisms of inflammation in acne, bacterial taxonomy and bacterial production of body odors. These studies are found in more than 300 publications, numerous chapters and several books.
